University participates in the Middle East Poultry Exhibition and Conference in Riyadh

The University, represented by the Institute of Studies and Consulting Services, is participating in the Middle East and North Africa Poultry Exhibition under the theme "Contributing to Enhancing Food Security", which is being held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti, who visited the University's booth and reviewed the services provided by the University.

 

Through its participation in this exhibition, the university aims to introduce the services provided by the university related to these aspects, with the aim of marketing its services and strengthening its relationship with the sectors, as part of the university's endeavor to be one of the active and enabling entities to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

 

The University showcases its consulting, research and educational services, marketing these services to the public and private sectors and local and regional scientific and commercial exchange, as well as strengthening the university's relationship with external sectors to meet their needs and requirements, building effective partnerships between the university and society, introducing the university logo and documenting its name as a service provider brand, publicizing the university's projects and raising awareness among the community about the quality of its services, stimulating research and development at the university, and stimulating the talents of its employees.

 

For his part, the Dean of the Institute of Consulting Studies and Services, Dr. Fahad bin Saleh Al-Ayyiri, the supervisor of the university pavilion, explained that the university is participating as an academic sponsor, with a large pavilion on an area of 60 square meters, divided into three sections according to three pillars: (Education and Research, Experiments and Production, Prevention and Treatment), with the participation of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, the Deanship of Scientific Research, the Experiments and Research Station, and the University Veterinary Hospital.

 

He added that this participation comes to highlight the university's capabilities and market scientific research products, as one of the projects of the university's strategic plan 2020-2025, and to create opportunities to enhance the university's own revenues through partnerships with the public and private sectors, and provide specialized consulting, research, educational and training services in the food industries to enhance food security in the Kingdom, thus enhancing the university's role in achieving this strategic direction.
