His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, sponsored the "Wai" campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs, which included an exhibition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the university for three days in the main lobby of the university city, with the participation of 10 corners from inside and outside the university, where the exhibition was opened in the presence of His Excellency the Vice President for Educational Affairs Dr. Muhammad Al-Sharekh and a number of university leaders and faculty members.
The UQU President toured the participating corners in the exhibition, namely: Poison Control Center at the General Directorate of Health Affairs in Qassim, a corner for the General Directorate of Drug Control in Qassim, a corner dedicated to the Saudi Charitable Society for the Prevention of Poisons "Sumum", in addition to the participation of 36 student clubs.
The paths of the "Wai" campaign to raise awareness of the danger of drugs also included an exhibition at the Western Academic Complex and an exhibition at the Southern Academic Complex, in addition to a number of lectures, as well as the Arshidni program, competitions, sports, free drawing, and 16 drawings made by university students.
