Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Dr. Azzam Al-Dakhil, the university will organize the "College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies Forum, March and Achievement 1396-1436 AH" tomorrow morning, Sunday, 7/7/1436 AH.

The forum, which is organized by the college in order to introduce its efforts in education, research, scientific research and community service, since its launch in 1396 AH to the present day, includes many accompanying events, including a seminar and panel discussions entitled "College of Shari'ah and Islamic Studies, Development, Reality and Aspirations" followed by two panel discussions, In addition to the exhibition of the second scientific products of the college's faculty members, and the Career Day exhibition as the first career day held in Shari'ah colleges, as well as the distribution of a number of research papers and theses of college professors and graduate students, and former deans of the college will be honored in recognition of their efforts.

His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, praised the patronage of the Minister of Education for the forum, stressing that holding a scientific meeting that monitors the progress of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies during forty years goes beyond the formal meaning to the implicit meaning based on affirming the principles on which this blessed country was founded in nurturing and caring for Shari`ah science and interest in it.

 He pointed out that the establishment of the College of Sharia and Islamic Studies at Qassim University is a milestone in the history of higher education in the Qassim region, as the college is an important nucleus of higher education in the region.Knock .

The President of Qassim University said: This college has interacted with society scientifically and culturally, including the work of a group of distinguished scholars in contributing lessons, writings, consultations and fatwas. It has also contributed to the advancement of community education by graduating thousands of qualified students in the legal sciences who have served their country in many facilities, whether working in the judiciary, teaching and administrative functions, or by writing books, research and scientific studies in the legal sciences, or contributing to graduate studies at the master's and doctoral levels.

The Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, Prof. Dr. Walid bin Ali Al-Hussein, affirmed that the forum shows the stages of the college's establishment, establishment, development, achievements and various contributions in serving religion and the nation since its inception. The college seeks to fulfill its scientific mission and achieve the objectives for which it was established, by taking care of teaching specialized Shari`ah sciences and qualifying its students according to an authentic scientific approach, and the college has a prominent role in this, and this is evident in many areas: The College has played a prominent role in this, and this is evident in several fields, as the College has contributed and continues to contribute with its counterparts in serving the various governmental sectors, as its graduates are appointed in many fields, most notably: the judiciary, judicial authorities, administrative courts, investigation and public prosecution bodies, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance, the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, public education, law, religious counseling in a number of government departments, and others who have assumed leadership positions and made distinguished contributions.

Dr. Al-Hussein added: The college also has a prominent role in serving the community through various scientific programs, including: Holding specialized scientific lectures and seminars at home and abroad, giving speeches, enriching scientific research, especially in contemporary issues and new developments and explaining their rulings, participating in awareness programs in the Hajj organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, providing legal consultations, and others.

In order to fulfill its mission, the college also organizes scientific conferences and seminars, supports scientific research in Sharia sciences, and takes care of printing scientific theses and specialized research in various Sharia fields.

Dr. Al-Hussein stressed that the college is exerting its efforts in the comprehensive development of all its programs in accordance with the requirements of the times and the needs of the community. The college has developed its strategic plan and its executive plan, and is keen to cooperate with its counterparts in the Islamic world, and has expanded the acceptance of scholarship students from various countries of the Islamic world in its academic programs at all stages of its doctoral, master's and bachelor's degrees.
