On Monday morning, 16/8/1442 A.H., His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, visited the headquarters of the student dormitory in University City, where he toured all its facilities, and was assured of the safety and quality of all services, as well as the needs of the dormitory, accompanied by the Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Udeib, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ajlan, and the vice deans and staff of the deanship.

His Excellency the UQU President's tour included the Vice Presidency of Housing, followed by a visit to the Housing and Scholarships Department, the Command and Control Center, the training and development halls, in addition to the Housing Diwaniyah, the Reading Club Library and the Technical Club, before concluding his visit to the student housing farm, where he participated in planting a sapling, stressing the importance of taking care of agriculture and developing the farm to achieve the "Green Saudi" and "Green Middle East" initiative launched by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him.
