The University, represented by the College of Computing, won the second place in the final list of the best participants in the competitive training program Seeds for The Future, organized by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Huawei. Organized by the Communications and Information Technology Commission, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Huawei, which concluded on Friday, 3/12/1441 A.H. The student Sarah bint Saleh Al-Rumaih achieved second place in the final results among all participating male and female students, and the other college representative, Reef bint Saleh Al-Turki, achieved advanced and superior results on the educational level in all days of training.
The two students ranked among the top five trainees for two consecutive days of the training program, which lasted for five days starting on Monday, 29/11/1441 AH, and ended on Friday, 3/12/1441 AH, where the final results were announced for the first batch of male and female students in the training, and 128 male and female students who were divided into two batches and nominated by all Saudi universities representing the elite in the disciplines of electrical engineering, communications, engineering and computer science participated in the training program.
This training program aims to nurture talents for training in 5G, artificial intelligence and cloud computing, and will later include a visit to Huawei's headquarters in China.
