The Deanship of Student Affairs at Qassim University organized an orientation ceremony for new students in Hall "A," attended by the University President, Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hamoudi. The ceremony aims to introduce new students to the regulations and instructions governing studies and exams that are important for their academic future, as well as the services provided by the university to its male and female students. In addition to answering their questions and inquiries, the Rector informed the students about the educational systems, made them feel the importance of joining the university, and urged them to continue with diligence and effort. He also emphasized the necessity of utilizing all the resources the university provides to students and benefiting from them in order to enhance their academic abilities for the sake of their future studies, confirming that the university is striving to overcome all obstacles facing students. He stressed the importance of taking things seriously, as the university stage is entirely different from previous stages, considering that a university student is fully responsible for themselves. He wished the students success in their new academic journey. .

The Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tami, also addressed the students, urging them to persevere in their academic pursuits and be mindful of their future studies. He said: "My student brother, you are embarking on a new experience in your academic life and stepping onto a higher level of higher education. This stage requires effort and perseverance," emphasizing that all colleges and deanships are striving to serve the students.

Subsequently, the Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Mohammed Al-Saowi, the Vice Dean, Dr. Ali Al-Saif, the Dean of Educational Services, Dr. Faisal Al-Jasser, and the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Khalid Bani Al-Harbi, held an open meeting with students. They answered their questions and inquiries regarding their university studies and what they need at the beginning of their first academic year and responded to their questions and inquiries.

On his part, His Excellency the University Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammoudi, launched the Deanship of Student Affairs application guide "Saaed" on smart devices. The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Sharidah, explained that in pursuit of the Deanship to benefit from the technological advancement of smart devices, this program was introduced to serve male and female students of the university. It includes many student services such as the university student guide, calculating GPA, study schedules, university maps, and others, indicating that this application can be downloaded for free from the "Apple Store".

It is mentioned that the Deanship of Student Affairs has formed several committees to organize and arrange this ceremony. During the ceremony, a file containing a gift from the Deanship of Student Affairs, a CD with information about the university, and brochures containing information relevant to university students were distributed.
