His Excellency, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God support him – for the kind confidence he bestowed upon him by extending his appointment as University President for the next four years. He supplicated to God Almighty for help and success in carrying out his assigned duties in service to his religion, his king, and his country.
Al-Dawood added, "I pray to God Almighty to grant us success in making more effort, under the guidance of our wise leadership, so that the university continues to achieve accomplishments in line with the vision of our Kingdom 2030 and contributes to serving the nation and the citizen, in light of the support that the education sector enjoys in our dear homeland from our King and his Crown Prince, may God protect them.".
Al-Daoud confirmed that during the past period, there were true success partners who contributed support and cooperation to achieve goals and successes. Foremost among them are His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshaal bin Saud, Governor of Al-Qassim region, and His Highness the Deputy Governor, His Royal Highness Prince Fahd bin Turki bin Faisal. They played a major role in developing the university and achieving its good reputation in several educational, research, and community service fields. His Excellency concluded his statement by thanking His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education for his support of the university and his interest in its excellence. He also thanked his colleagues at the university for the cooperation and interaction he found, which had a positive impact on the university’s progress over the past years. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Daoud prayed to God to perpetuate the blessings of security, safety, and stability upon our country, to protect its leaders, guide their steps, and provide them with His help and success.
