Qassim University participated in the celebration of the graduates of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program in America, through a special pavilion at the Career Day exhibition. The university seeks to attract distinguished competencies from scholarship graduates in a number of disciplines included in the 38 colleges of the university in the cities, governorates and centers of the region, where it received more than 500 male and female graduates who expressed their desire to work at the university and filled out recruitment forms in preparation for transferring them to colleges and departments to study their academic needs, interview applicants and then appoint those who meet the criteria according to the regulations governing the employment of lecturers with master's and doctoral degrees. The university was also keen to attract visitors to the university pavilion to learn about its colleges, departments and achievements and to introduce them through publications, paintings, television screens and the university newspaper that were included in the university exhibition, in addition to serving coffee, dates and Qassimi kalija, in addition to serving coffee, dates and Qassimi kalija. The pavilion received multiple visits from senior officials, media professionals, graduates and graduates, who praised the good organization and the embodiment of the qualities of generosity of the people of the region in particular and the Kingdom in general. The head of the university delegation at the Career Day in America, Dr. Mohsen Al-Mohsen, Dean of Scientific Research, pointed out that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program is a pioneering step towards supporting the development process in our country, as the Minister of Higher Education stressed in his speech during the graduates' ceremony that there are more than 151 thousand students in more than 32 countries around the world studying in many scientific and applied disciplines, which is no doubt a positive indicator. He added: Qassim University, with the direct support of His Excellency the President of the University, was keen to be present at the Career Day and participate with other universities and government and private sectors in the Kingdom as a kind of positive support for this program and enhance its contribution towards the national knowledge economy sought by our wise government: The experience of scholarship and opening the opportunity for male and female students to achieve knowledge and civilized communication with other cultures and introduce the values and principles of our Islamic and national culture is a valuable responsibility that needs clarity of vision, a balance of experiences and life skills and the ability to manage oneself positively to achieve the desired goals of this program by preparing national, inspirational and creative competencies that lead our development process in our country in a correct and conscious way towards the desired reform. Dr. Al-Mohsen pointed out that it is important to point out here the importance of evaluating these participations and searching for the national return of the students of the program and its impact on the educational and developmental movement in our country and its contribution towards achieving the goals and aspirations, as well as searching for the obstacles and challenges facing it and standing in the way of maximum benefit from its goals and aspirations that were drawn for it years ago when it was launched at the time, and I believe that it is now time to listen to the opinions of the participants and targets in addition to its guests every year through workshops and meetings sponsored by the Ministry of Higher Education working to develop the type and degree of participation and study its future during the coming periods. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Baridi, a faculty member at Qassim University and a member of the university delegation, pointed out that the participation in the career days for male and female graduates in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program comes out of the university's belief that the excellence of any university in the fields of education, scientific research and community services is based on competent human resources; the whole world is witnessing a "war for competencies"; in light of this, Qassim University participates in career days in Washington, London and others because it is convinced that they represent good opportunities to attract the best young talents of both sexes according to the map of specializations required in the university colleges, which are about 40 colleges Dr. Al-Baridi praised the role of the Saudi Cultural Attaché, pointing out that it is making great efforts to organize the Career Day in Washington; undoubtedly, there are large margins for development, suggesting the establishment of a permanent higher committee for the Career Day, representing active universities and the private sector that is serious about providing job opportunities for graduates to achieve cumulation in the path of improvement and development, and other ideas. It is noteworthy that the university delegation also included Dr. Ali Al-Saud, Dean of the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Samani, Dean of Buraidah Community College, and the Director of Public Relations Department, Mr. Mustafa Al-Mashaikh, Mr. Ahmed Al-Malik and Mr. Saleh Al-Shubrami.
