The College of Arabic Language and Social Studies at the University held a scientific meeting with Dr. Abdullah Al-Misnad, Professor of Climate in the Department of Geography at the University, entitled "The Journey of Al-Miraj. Reflections on Speed and Distance" at the College's Scientific Discussions Hall on Wednesday, 9/3/1441 A.H., as part of the university's scientific enrichment program.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Misnad spoke about the story of al-Miraj from a different gate chosen by the doctor, and perhaps for the first time he touched this door through the outputs of astronomy, as he raised a question about the speed with which the journey of al-Miraj took place, and answered this question through a series of digital information about the Kingdom of God in the sky, in which he transferred the audience to a space tourism journey of faith in the Kingdom of God, in a lecture that the attendees described as talking about the monotheism of the Lord before it is in the field of astronomy.
The meeting aimed to motivate attendees to activate the worship of meditation, reflection and contemplation of God's creation in the heavens through a series of illustrated and documented outputs of modern science in an innovative, easy and impactful way.
