His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, UQU President, inaugurated three new electronic systems belonging to the Scientific Council at the university yesterday, Wednesday, 24/2/1440 H, in the presence of His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Ahmed Al-Turki, and the Dean of the Deanship of Information Technology, Dr. Fahad Al-Mansour.
His Excellency inaugurated an electronic promotion system in cooperation with the Deanship of Information Technology, which deals with the promotion requests of faculty members, in an effort to develop the work and achieve the highest levels of quality and achievement. The Secretary of the Scientific Council, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghadouni, reviewed the electronic system for scientific promotions and the stages of progress of promotion transactions in this system.
His Excellency the UQU President extended his thanks and appreciation to the Scientific Council Secretariat and its employees for the efforts exerted regarding the promotion procedures for faculty members, which contribute to the control and quality of the Scientific Council's work.
For his part, His Excellency the UQU Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research reviewed the organizational and procedural guide of the Scientific Council Secretariat, which includes the job description of the Scientific Council Secretariat and the flow of transactions and their forms.
In the next phase, the Scientific Council Secretariat will launch a number of new electronic systems, namely: The Scientific Sabbatical System, the Scientific Excellence Reward System, and the Appointments System.
