The University, represented by the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, announced the deadline for receiving research abstracts to participate in the international conference organized by the University on "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Efforts to Consolidate the Values of Moderation and Civilized Coexistence: Concepts and Practices", where the submission door will close on 29 Muharram 1441 corresponding to September 28, 2019, and the university also announced the deadline for receiving full research papers on 15 Rabiul Awwal 1441H.
The conference, which will be held on 13-14 Rabi'II 1441 AH, corresponding to December 10-11, 2019, aims to monitor Saudi efforts related to consolidating the values of moderation and civilized coexistence at all levels. The conference also seeks to demonstrate the impact of Saudi legal discourse in spreading the concepts of civilized coexistence, highlight the role of Saudi diplomacy and governmental and non-governmental legal and cultural institutions in the Kingdom in this field, as well as relief institutions and inspire leading Saudi experiences in consolidating the values of moderation and civilized coexistence among peoples.
The themes of the conference range from the legal basis for the values of human communication and addressing its issues, the Saudi legal discourse and its impact on spreading the concepts of civilized coexistence, the role of governmental and non-governmental legal and cultural institutions in building bridges with the other, Saudi diplomatic efforts in deepening the meanings of joint communication, the efforts of relief institutions, and pioneering personal experiences, in addition to the Saudi diplomatic efforts in deepening the meanings of joint communication.
