The University's Driving School received more than 8,000 applications for enrollment in the announced driving education programs from those wishing to obtain a driver's license. The number of those enrolled in the waiting lists reached more than a thousand applicants during the first ten minutes of opening the registration door at this stage, and the registration door is still available for those wishing to join the school permanently, in line with the university's mission to serve the community and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership to accommodate all female applicants to join the school.
For his part, the Executive Director of the school, Dr. Majid bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, explained that the registration process was carried out automatically, as all applicants were enrolled in the waiting lists according to a single criterion, which is "their precedence in registration", in the spirit of justice, credibility, transparency and clarity followed in all the school's work, noting that the applicant has the right to submit an objection to not being accepted in one of the school's programs if she finds that someone else applied after her and was accepted in the same training program.
Al-Enezi added that the next stage is the stage of giving appointments to all those enrolled in the waiting lists when vacant seats are available at the school, stressing that the school is working to increase the capacity to keep up with the expected increase in the number of female applicants.
