The University's Financial Affairs Department has begun disbursing financial dues to beneficiaries during May of the fiscal year 2019, corresponding to the current month of Ramadan, via the "Disbursement Platform.".
The gift said, "This transformation was preceded by close follow-up from His Excellency the University President, Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, in addition to the great efforts made by the Deanship of Information Technology, the Deanship of Faculty and Staff Affairs, and colleagues in the General Administration of Financial Affairs, represented by approving and aligning the university's financial system with the system of the Ministry of Finance.".
It is mentioned that this system will expedite the disbursement of financial dues to beneficiaries, as the process of sending the payment order, waiting for its delivery, and its auditing by the Ministry of Finance will become automated. This will not take hours until the dues are deposited into the beneficiary's account, as clarified by officials at the Ministry of Finance.
