The Financial Affairs Department launches the payment of dues through the "Saraf platform"

The University's Financial Affairs Department has started disbursing the financial dues of the beneficiaries during the month of May of the fiscal year 2019, corresponding to the current month of Ramadan, through the "Saraf platform".

The Director General of Financial Affairs, Mr. Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Hudayya, explained that "Saraf Platform" is an electronic platform established by the Ministry of Finance to disburse financial dues, according to which the entity is granted an account number at the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, and the transfer to the beneficiaries' bank accounts is done through the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency.

"This transformation was preceded by careful follow-up by His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, in addition to the great efforts made by the Deanship of Information Technology, the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employees Affairs, and colleagues at the General Administration of Financial Affairs, which included the approval and harmonization of the financial system at the university with the system at the Ministry of Finance," Al-Hudayyah said.

It is noteworthy that this system will speed up the process of disbursing financial dues to beneficiaries, as the process of sending the payment order and waiting for it to be delivered and audited by the Ministry of Finance will become automated, and it will not take a number of hours until the dues fall into the beneficiary's account, according to what officials at the Ministry of Finance explained.
