A workshop to introduce the steps of preparing study plans

Today, Tuesday, 12/8/1440 A.H., the University, represented by the Department of Programs and Study Plans at the Vice Presidency of Educational Affairs, held a workshop entitled "Preparing study plans"In cooperation with the Deanship of Development and Quality, the Deanship of Admission and Registration, and the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies, in the theater of medical clinics in Al-Malida University City, with the aim of introducing the department and the steps for approving study plans (tasks and responsibilities), as well as the general framework of study plans as a unified regulation for the diploma and bachelor's stages.

 

For his part, Dr. Fahad bin Saleh Al-Ayiri, Supervisor of the Department of Programs and Study Plans, explained that the workshop focused on introducing the development model implemented by the Deanship of Development and Quality, introducing the Postgraduate Studies Regulation and its attached forms and guides, introducing the course codes through the Deanship of Admission and Registration, showing examples of approved plans for the diploma, bachelor, master and doctorate, discussing the most prominent obstacles in the process of preparing plans and offering solutions to them, and the developmental management plans.

 

He pointed out that this workshop benefited more than 100 male and female program managers from the university and its branches, in addition to the college vice deans for educational affairs, noting that the workshop aimed to gather program managers and college vice deans to introduce them to the procedures for approving study plans, which start from the department and then the college, and extend until the plan is approved by the university council, as well as introduce them to the forms and guides required during the procedures. The most prominent obstacles in the process of preparing plans, whether diploma, bachelor, master or doctoral plans and ways to solve them were presented, and the future vision for the administration's direction regarding the development of plans was also presented.
