A conference at the university to define the concept of linguistic and literary heritage in the light of modern approaches.

Qassim University, represented by the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the College of Arabic Language and Social Studies, is organizing the Third International Conference on «Linguistic and Literary Heritage in Light of Modern Methodologies» under the patronage of His Excellency Professor Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, the University President. The conference will take place tomorrow, Thursday, corresponding to 7/7/1440 AH, at 8:30 AM in the college's Grand Celebration Hall. Fourteen leading researchers from the Arab world will participate, and their research will be divided into three scientific sessions starting at 9:00 AM and concluding at 2:30 PM.

The conference aims to define the concept of heritage in contemporary Arabic discourse, examine its multiple interpretations, and identify the objective foundations governing the relationship between our linguistic and literary heritage on one hand, and newly emerging modern trends and methodologies on the other. This is based on acknowledging the importance and complementarity of both the heritage and modern fields.
