His Excellency the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Khaled bin Abdulrahman Al-Hamoudi, expressed his deepest condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior - may Allah protect them, the royal family and the Saudi people in the passing of the father and leader King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, asking Allah to rest his soul in his heavenly places and reward him well for the people and the nation of Saudi Arabia, asking Allah to grant him the best reward for his people and his nation.
His Excellency said: The state of sadness that prevailed in the wake of the news of the death of the country's leader King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz - may God have mercy on his soul - was behind a huge balance of love and loyalty that King Abdullah cultivated during his nearly ten years of rule.
This was evident in the state of grief that accompanied the exchange of condolences and prayers for King Abdullah's mercy and forgiveness, which was a sincere and spontaneous expression of the size of the relationship that existed and still exists between the leadership and the Saudi people, a relationship that was based on honesty, humility and giving by King Abdullah and was reciprocated by the people with loyalty, love and loyalty.
King Abdullah, may God have mercy on him, completed the civilizational construction process initiated by the Kingdom's leaders since its establishment, and his reign witnessed economic growth that was reflected in the development of many service sectors that affect the lives and interests of people, and issued historic decisions related to the reform process of government systems and sectors, and it is not possible in this place to address here the works and achievements that were achieved during his illustrious reign, but I will refer to the most prominent achievements that represented milestones in the Saudi development process, foremost among them the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina, the establishment of the General Anti-Corruption Commission and the development of the Qatari facility.
His Excellency went on to say: Perhaps the qualitative leap achieved in the education sector at various levels and types represents an important feature of the developmental achievement achieved during his reign, as the educational sectors accounted for the largest share of the state's general budget during the past years, which confirms the care given by King Abdullah to the Saudi man as the inexhaustible wealth, and as the tool and goal of development, the higher education sector expanded, and the establishment of universities was not limited to the main cities in the Kingdom's regions, but extended to medium-sized cities and small governorates until the number of universities in the Kingdom reached 2
The President of Al-Qassim University pointed out that the grief that the people of the Kingdom and its lovers experienced upon the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, was only alleviated by the announcement of the coronation of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz as King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz as Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, and the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz as Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, and this smooth transition of government once again confirmed that the Kingdom is moving in the right direction and the bond between people and leadership is stronger than KSA.
In conclusion, His Excellency asked Allah to have mercy on the deceased King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and to grant us all patience and accountability for his loss, praying that Allah will guide our leader, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, his Crown Prince, and the Deputy Crown Prince, may Allah protect them all, as He is the one who hears and answers.
