Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
Description:
Civil engineering is the oldest and most prestigious branch of engineering in engineering schools around the world, due to its connection to almost all aspects of civilization. Many of the important things in our lives, which we take for granted, are the product of civil engineering. A civil engineer deals with a wide range of engineering aspects, such as designing, building, and maintaining various structures (buildings, dams, reservoirs, dams, roads, water and sewage networks, irrigation and drainage networks, etc.), solving implementation issues, and managing engineering and construction projects. The civil engineer also plays an important role in planning and managing transportation systems, public safety, water resources conservation and development, wastewater treatment and reuse, and many others. The civil engineering curriculum at Qassim University aims to serve a wide range of the profession's activities, and is designed to meet the student's need for sufficient and balanced content for various civil engineering topics. These topics initially cover most, if not all, of the civil engineering sub-disciplines. Students then choose to specialize in one or more sub-specialties at the end of the degree.
