An Overview

Based on the objectives of Qassim University and its responsibilities towards the community to provide it with professional cadres that meet its needs, the Department of Industrial Engineering at the College of Engineering was established based on the new structure of the university issued by a decision of the University Affairs Council in 1445-2024. The department contributes fundamentally to the development of the nation, as the industrial engineer plays a vital role in all governmental and private production sectors and this is reflected in the development and economic plans because of the expertise and skills provided by this specialization in analyzing, designing and operating industrial and service production systems that achieve production rates, production efficiency, high quality and appropriate price with the best modern and integrated engineering and computer scientific means and methods of work

Objectives :

1- Preparing graduates for a successful career as engineers: Industrial engineers in the public and private sectors.
2- Conducting applied scientific research and providing consultations.
3- Enhancing communication, cooperation and partnership with the community.
4- Participate in adopting advanced technologies and introducing innovations.
5. Participate in the adoption and introduction of advanced technologies.
6- Contributing effectively to the sustainable development of Saudi society.
