An Overview
The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology was established in 2005, along with the establishment of the College of Pharmacy at Qassim University. Pharmacology includes the study of the physiological, biochemical and pharmacological effects of drugs and their mechanism of action, as well as their side effects and contraindications to their use on the human body. Toxicology is concerned with studying the toxic and harmful effects of drugs, chemicals, and pollutants on various body systems. The Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology works to provide clinical pharmacy students with the theoretical and practical information needed to develop their logical, intellectual and clinical skills.

Goal 1: Ensure quality education and achieve excellence in pharmacy specialization
