Overview
This department is divided into two main sections: Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Orthodontics is concerned with the alignment of teeth and the relationship of the jaws to each other. Pediatric dentistry is concerned with the treatment and preservation of children's teeth, both deciduous and permanent.
Objectives :
1- Provide students with the ability to accurately diagnose oral diseases through clinical examination, radiography, and histopathological analysis.
2- Supporting research that focuses on a deeper understanding of oral diseases and the development of more effective diagnostic methods.
3- Developing students' abilities to think critically and solve issues through case-based learning to make sound therapeutic decisions.
4- Enhancing community awareness of oral and maxillofacial diseases.
