Mission
Preparing dentists with the necessary competence to contribute effectively to the renaissance of society and instill high scientific and ethical values that drive the wheel of development and societal progress.
Overview
This department is divided into two main sections: Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. Orthodontics is concerned with the alignment of teeth and the relationship of the jaws to each other. Pediatric dentistry is concerned with the treatment and preservation of children's teeth, both deciduous and permanent.
Objectives :
1- Providing students with sufficient skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive care for children and adults.
2- Emphasizing the importance of prevention, educating the community, and promoting healthy behaviors.
3- Enhancing the concept of scientific research among students by developing innovative curricula in the fields of treatment and orthodontics, which improves the oral health and aesthetics of children and adults.
4- Preparing highly qualified dentists, capable of meeting national health standards.
