The Quran and its Sciences PhD program is an advanced academic study program that aims to qualify researchers and scholars in the field of Quranic studies, including Quranic sciences, exegesis, readings and their sciences, exegete methodologies, and others. The program aims to develop students' research and analytical abilities in these fields and qualify them to make distinguished scientific contributions in the service of the Holy Qur'an and its sciences.

Educational goals :
1- Preparing specialized researchers in the Holy Quran and its sciences who are able to study in depth what the Ummah scholars produced in tafsir and Quranic sciences.
2- Countering the suspicions of the Orientalists and their followers who challenge the Holy Qur'an.
3- Linking the courses and curricula to the reality in which the student lives in order to contribute to the upbringing of a good generation of specialized construction workers who contribute to the development of their society and country.
4- Providing universities, higher institutes and research centers in the Kingdom and abroad with professors, researchers and experts who hold doctorates in Qur'anic studies.

Knowledge and understanding
1- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of the methods and rules of tafsir and Qur'anic sciences.
2- To interpret by mastering the methods of tafsir criticism, explaining the Qur'an's issues, and the miracle of its rhetoric.
3- To explain the heritage and modern approaches and trends in Qur'anic studies.
