A distinguished and pioneering department in providing high-quality educational services in the field of Sunnah and its sciences, and to be an exemplary department at the local and regional levels.
Mission
Contributing to the graduation of distinguished scientific competencies in Sunnah and its sciences in a way that suits the labor market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world, and preparing highly qualified researchers to contribute to the fields of scientific research in light of the mission of the college and university and the standards of quality and academic accreditation, in order to deepen the values of the Prophetic Sunnah and preserve the identity of the Islamic nation, by activating the partnership with scientific departments in the college.
An Overview
The Department of Sunnah and its Sciences is one of the departments of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies at Al-Qassim University: The department also aspires to prepare qualified competencies in the bachelor's and master's programs that carry this science and communicate it to people in the correct legal communication. The department was established at the beginning of the academic year 1396/1397 A.H. with the establishment of the College of Shari`ah and Arabic Language, under the name of the Department of Sunnah and its Sciences
Objectives :
1- Contributing to the enrichment of human knowledge with specialized studies and serious research, to reach innovative scientific and applied additions.
2- Encouraging high scientific competencies to keep pace with the rapid progress of science and technology, pushing them to be creative and innovative, and developing scientific research.
3- Linking curricula and curricula to reality to contribute to the upbringing of a good generation of specialized construction workers who contribute to the development of society and address its issues.
4- Caring for serious research in the field of Sunnah and its sciences, expanding its research, working to spread it, and contributing to the consolidation of the methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah, on which the countries of the Two Holy Mosques, protected by Allah, were founded.
5- Qualifying scientific competencies in this blessed country in the field of Sunnah and its sciences.
6- Highlighting the fulfillment of the Prophet's Sunnah to the different needs of the era.
7. Linking courses and curricula to reality to contribute to the upbringing of a good generation, a specialized construction worker who contributes to the development of his community, addresses its issues, and meets the department's future needs.
8- Contributing to the advancement of our blessed university and raising its scientific efficiency and contributions in the field of scientific research.
