An Overview
The Department of Biology is one of the main departments of the College of Science at Qassim University, which started receiving students in 1419 AH. The department offers academic programs in various fields of biology, with a focus on practical applications and qualifying graduates for the labor market in accordance with Vision 2030.
Objectives :
- The program aims to provide students with basic principles, knowledge and skills in the fields of biology.
- Developing and raising the efficiency of teaching courses to meet the requirements of the changing labor market.
- Using the applications of biology to solve environmental issues for the betterment of society.
- Develop ways to achieve and ensure the quality of performance and outputs.
- Prepare outstanding female professionals with creative abilities.
- Building bridges of communication with various sectors of the local community and participating in local development.
- Developing students' skills in the use of laboratory and information technologies.
