Mission
Preparing and qualifying educational and specialized competencies in the field of early childhood with academic, professional and technical skills that enable them to compete in the regional and local labor market, and enhancing the role of scientific research and community service to achieve excellence and academic accreditation.
An Overview
In line with the tremendous scientific developments that the Kingdom has witnessed in recent years, one of its manifestations was the establishment of early childhood schools, which included the kindergarten stage and the first three grades of the primary stage. The Department of Early Childhood was created to keep pace with the needs of the community as a department of the College of Education at Qassim University in order to prepare early childhood teachers to meet the needs of the community. The program aims to prepare highly qualified early childhood teachers who are able to meet the diverse needs of children, adapt to changes in teaching methods, and contribute to the continuous professional development of teachers during their service.
Objectives :
1. Preparing cadres and scientific competencies specialized in early childhood.
2. Provide students with scientific thinking skills and constructive criticism.
3. Training female students to practice manual labor and make educational aids at the lowest cost of consumable environmental materials.
4. Giving students the ability to take responsibility and fulfill their assigned role.
5. Striving to achieve the scientific standards of quality and academic accreditation.
6. Conducting applied research on early childhood issues to keep pace with the tremendous progress in the field of child education.
7. Providing specialized professional and scientific consultations to serve the community in the field of early childhood.
8. Developing positivity and social responsibility among female students and faculty members.
9. Supporting the participation of faculty members in conferences, seminars, scientific meetings, and research projects.
10. Contributing to developing the skills of early childhood workers in different sectors by providing specialized training courses.
