An Overview
Graduate studies programs are witnessing great developments and clear expansions in the various programs and tracks at Al-Qassim University in general and at the College of Education in particular, including the Department of Educational Leadership and the great scientific movement it is witnessing; the Master of Educational Administration program started in the academic year 1434/1435 A.H., and the Doctor of Educational Leadership program was opened in the academic year 1441/1442 A.H. These programs were available within the Department of Fundamentals of Education until the decision of independence was issued in the second semester of the academic year 1445 A.H. This appreciates the quality of these programs and the distinguished educational, research and consulting services they provide, confirms the competence of the faculty members, and reflects the positive impact in preparing and qualifying educational leaders, meeting the requirements of the labor market, enriching scientific research and community development, in line with the aspirations of Saudi Vision 2030 to qualify and train educational leaders, adopt merit as a basic principle, establish a base of human competencies to be future leaders, and enhance efforts to align the outputs of the educational system with the needs of the labor market.
Objectives :
- Providing academically accredited higher education in the specialty of educational administration and leadership.
- Continuous development of quality processes in the department's programs in accordance with modern administrative trends.
- Preparing scientifically and research-qualified educational leaders in the field of management and leadership to meet the requirements of sustainable development.
- Preparing highly qualified and competitive leaders in the labor market.
- Providing administrative consultations and training programs for educational institutions.
- Actively participate in the community partnership between the department and external organizations.
- Increasing the rates of scientific production in Arab and foreign journals with a high impact factor.
