Vision
The Department of Operations Management is one of the vital departments within the College of Business and Economics, which aims to qualify specialized cadres capable of planning, managing and improving operational processes in various types of organizations, whether industrial or service. The department focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to understand supply chains, quality management, process analysis, and effective operational decision-making, while adopting the latest management methods and techniques to support business sustainability, efficiency, and organizational excellence. It covers topics such as: Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, Integrated Academics, Operational Innovation, and Modern Operations Management techniques. The department also promotes applied aspects through practical projects, case studies, and partnerships with various business sectors, contributing to the preparation of highly competitive graduates in the labor market. Career opportunities for graduates of the department are varied and include areas such as: Production management, operational planning, logistics and supply chains, quality improvement, operations management in the health, banking and service sectors, in addition to working in management consulting firms.
