The Department of Physical Therapy is one of the vital and rare departments in Saudi and Arab universities, as it grants a new degree, which is the Doctor of Physical Therapy (Entry level DPT), which is an advanced degree from the bachelor's degree, as it is characterized by the intensity and nature of the educational content and clinical training and is awarded in a number of international universities and is the only and basic degree to practice the profession of physical therapy in the United States of America and the European Union by 2020, as statistics indicate that 255 study programs in the United States of America and 4 programs in Canada and Europe have been approved, and admission to all study programs in the United States of America has been suspended, and all study programs in the United States of America have been suspended.

I: Knowledge:
1- Learn about the basic concepts and theories in the biomedical sciences that support the study of physical therapy.
2- Identify the basic concepts and theories in the fields of medical rehabilitation, physical therapy, humanities, and scientific research techniques.
3- Recognizes the causes, pathological and mechanical changes, and the medical picture of various pathological conditions in physiotherapy specialties.
4- Describe the basic principles and theories of medical, surgical, and physiotherapy treatment programs in the evaluation of various pathological conditions in physiotherapy disciplines.
5- Identify the role of physiotherapy in preventing diseases and injuries and improving public health.
6- Describe the steps and procedures for applying different programs and techniques in physiotherapy in the diagnosis and treatment of various pathological conditions.
II: Cognitive skills:
1- Integrates the concepts and theories of biomedical sciences and physiotherapy sciences to evaluate and treat various pathological conditions in physiotherapy specialties.

2- Utilize various devices and equipment to safely and effectively assess and treat various conditions in physical therapy specialties.
3- Educates and trains recipients of physiotherapy services, their families, coworkers and different segments of the community on all skills related to health maintenance in physiotherapy specialties.
4- Applies safety and infection control rules for physical therapy practices.
