Overview
The Department of Occupational Therapy is one of the vital departments in the health and rehabilitation field, which aims to enable individuals of all ages to achieve functional independence and improve their quality of life by providing diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services.
Objectives :
1- Preparing professional cadres specialized in occupational therapy through advanced curricula.
2- Developing students' clinical skills through practical training in various environments (hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools).
3- Encouraging applied research that contributes to the development of clinical practice.
4- Cooperating with local and international institutions in research projects.
5- Providing awareness programs and therapeutic interventions for different community groups (the elderly, children with disabilities, psychiatric patients).
6. Partnerships with health institutions to enhance rehabilitation services.
7- Keeping abreast of global developments in the field of occupational therapy and including them in the study and service plans.
