Bachelor of Plant Production and Protection
The Plant Production and Protection Program focuses on developing sustainable agricultural production systems while ensuring food security and minimizing environmental impact. The program includes strategies to increase crop productivity, protect plants from pests and diseases, and apply environmentally friendly farming practices. This includes developing drought-resistant crops, conserving plant genetic resources, monitoring pests, training farmers on integrated pest management, and promoting biodiversity. At its core, the program aims to transform agri-food systems to become more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable.
Animal Production and Husbandry Program (Bachelor)
Established in 1402/1403 AH, the department offers a specialized program in animal production and husbandry, including courses in production, care, genetics, physiology, and nutrition for animals and poultry.
The program aims to graduate qualified cadres to work in various regions of the Kingdom, especially in the Qassim region, which is known for its poultry, sheep, and camel farms.
Master of Science in Animal Production
An advanced graduate program offered through two tracks for graduates of animal and poultry production departments and their equivalents, with the aim of deepening knowledge in animal production sciences and developing students' research and applied skills.
Master of Science in Poultry Production
A specialized graduate program, also offered in two tracks, focusing on basic and modern poultry science, with the aim of enhancing students' research and applied knowledge in the field of poultry production.
Master of Science in Plant Production and Protection
The program aims to qualify national cadres to work in the field of plant production and protection, possessing the necessary knowledge and research skills to support the national labor market. It focuses on the scientific and applied aspects of crop production and protection from pests and diseases, which contributes to sustainable agricultural development and enables graduates to innovate and develop the agricultural sector.
