(Knowledge Integration in the Prophetic Biography) Scholarship
This specialized research grant aims to establish interdisciplinary studies in the Prophetic biography as a systematic scientific approach that seeks to integrate biography sciences with other knowledge fields in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. This will enhance knowledge integration, deepen the rooted scientific understanding of the Prophetic biography, and allow for the application of its principles in addressing contemporary issues and generating practical solutions for them. Furthermore, it will enrich the humanities and social sciences with new horizons for methodological development and renewal.
Scholarship fields

- Enabling researchers to complete well-founded studies of an interdisciplinary nature that employ methodologies from different sciences for a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Prophet's biography.
- Support for interdisciplinary academic research that integrates prophetic biography and values with humanities, social sciences, and educational approaches, in order to provide deeper analytical approaches to contemporary intellectual and social challenges.
Contributing to the development of the humanities and social sciences by opening new avenues for knowledge integration and indigenizing scientific and technical approaches in the study of the Prophet's biography.
Scholarship terms and conditions
- The principal investigator must be faculty at Qassim University or equivalent, and their academic rank must be assistant professor or higher.
- The research proposal must be original, not previously submitted or supported by any other entity, and shall not be submitted to other entities after its support has been approved. It must not be plagiarized in whole or in part from academic theses or student projects.
- The percentage of documented citation (in text or meaning) in the research shall not exceed (25%). This applies to research by the researcher or by others. Any research exceeding this percentage will be rejected, according to the data from the plagiarism detection software (I Thenticate). Quranic verses, noble Hadiths, and poetic evidences are excluded from the citation percentage calculation mentioned above.
- The Principal Investigator must not have any stalled research according to the standards of the University's Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
- The researcher commits to publishing the research in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, with a reference to the support of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Rashed Al-Humaid Chair for the Service of the Biography and the Messenger ﷺ and the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research at Qassim University, according to the approved wording, which is as follows:

- Mention the university name as the sole affiliation for researchers from within it, and use the official university email only for publications.
- The financial bonus is disbursed after the research is published and the final report, which is technically and financially compliant, is submitted. The budget includes bonuses for researchers only, at an amount of fifteen thousand (15,000) Saudi Riyals per research, and no more.
- The scholarship duration is one year from the date of signing the contract between the Principal Investigator and the Chair.

Graduate Student and International Student Scholarship in the Prophet's Biography
The scholarship aims to support postgraduate students at Qassim University in preparing rigorous research that reconnects the Prophet's biography with contemporary human and societal issues. This will be achieved through broad, interdisciplinary research pathways that allow for the analysis of the biography in its civilizational, educational, and human dimensions, revealing its presence in global contexts. This endeavor contributes to the production of original knowledge with scientific and cultural impact.

- Adherence to the ethical controls for scientific research approved by Qassim University and obtaining approvals from scientific ethics committees when necessary, and following the regulatory procedures related to protecting the rights of researchers and study participants.
- Maintaining data confidentiality and using it solely for scientific purposes, without disclosing it to any external parties without prior written consent from the competent authorities at the university.
