A chair hosted by Qassim University with the support of Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Rashid Al-Hamid, which aims to prepare and support qualitative research, provide advisory, training and community services in the field of the biography of the Prophet, serve the Prophet, and spread prophetic values in governmental and private institutions.

Achieving a qualitative addition and innovation in peer-reviewed research, manuscript investigation, and the study of narratives in the Prophet's biography and the history of the Sahabah, may Allah have mercy on them.

Scholarship (Cognitive Integration in the Biography of the Prophet)
This specialized research grant seeks to consolidate interdisciplinary studies in the biography of the Prophet as a systematic scientific approach that seeks to integrate biographical sciences with other fields of knowledge in the human, social and natural sciences, in order to enhance knowledge integration, deepen the scientific understanding of the biography of the Prophet, and allow its principles to be used to address contemporary issues and generate practical solutions to them, in addition to enriching the human and social sciences with new horizons of methodological development and renewal.

- Enabling researchers to carry out original studies of an interdisciplinary nature that employ the methods of different sciences for a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Prophet's biography.
- Supporting interdisciplinary academic research that integrates biographical approaches with humanities, social sciences, and education curricula to provide deeper analytical approaches to contemporary intellectual and social challenges
Contributing to the development of humanities and social sciences by opening new paths for knowledge integration and localizing scientific and technical approaches in the study of the biography of the Prophet.
Scholarship Terms and Conditions
- The principal investigator must be a faculty member at Qassim University or equivalent, and his/her academic rank must not be lower than assistant professor.
- The research proposal must be original, not previously submitted or supported by any other entity, not submitted to other entities after approval, and not derived in whole or in part from academic theses or student projects.
- The percentage of documented citation (text or meaning) in the research should not exceed (25%), whether from the researcher's research or from the research of others, and any research that exceeds this percentage will be rejected, according to the data of the results of the citation measurement program (I Thenticate), excluding from the calculation of the above citation percentage Qur'anic verses, hadiths, and poetic testimonies.
- The principal investigator should not have stalled research according to the criteria of the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at the university.
- The researcher is obligated to publish the research in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, with reference to the support of the Sheikh Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Rashid Al-Hamid Chair for the service of the biography of the Prophet (peace be upon him) And the Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research at Qassim University, according to the approved wording:

- Mention the name of the university as the only reference address for researchers from within the university, and use only the official university email address when publishing.
- The financial reward is paid after the publication of the research and the submission of the technically and financially compliant final report, and the budget includes rewards for researchers only in the amount of (15,000 riyals) fifteen thousand riyals for each research.
- The duration of the grant is one year from the date of signing the contract between the PI and the chair.
