His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim, praised the results of Qassim University's national initiative in the field of research, development and innovation, which came under the title: "Roots that extend and horizons that renew: A Research Grant in National Identity and Sustainable Development", coinciding with the 95th National Day, which aims to promote values and consolidate the national identity, after His Royal Highness was briefed on the results of the initiative.

 His Highness emphasized that the initiative's distinguished scientific interaction reflects the researchers' awareness of the importance of consolidating national identity and linking it to sustainable development paths, pointing out that supporting scientific research is a key pillar in building a knowledge-based society that contributes to achieving the national development goals.

 His Highness extended his thanks to His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and the university staff for their efforts in implementing this initiative and achieving its objectives.

It is noteworthy that the initiative witnessed the submission of (124) research proposals and the acceptance of (48) proposals, as these outputs enhance the role of universities in serving the nation, support innovation, and contribute to the creation of knowledge linked to the values of society and its national identity.
