His Excellency the Minister of Education, Prof. Yousef bin Abdullah Al-Benyan, honored Qassim University in recognition of its effective efforts in achieving the objectives of voluntary work in the education and training system, and for its success in institutionalizing voluntary work according to the national standard "Edamah".
Qassim University came among the top three universities in achieving the targets, as a culmination of its institutional efforts and qualitative practices in supporting and enabling volunteer work, expanding community partnerships, and its effective contributions in spreading the culture of volunteering and promoting the values of giving and social responsibility among its employees and students, and integrating volunteer work into curricula and extracurricular activities. These efforts contributed to providing thousands of volunteer opportunities, and about one million and 400 thousand volunteer hours this year in various fields, achieving concrete economic impact, supporting sustainable development efforts, and actively contributing to the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
It is noteworthy that Qassim University was crowned with the National Award for Voluntary Work 2025 at the level of educational entities in the Kingdom, in recognition of its qualitative initiatives in this field.
