رعى صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير الدكتور فيصل بن مشعل بن سعود بن عبدالعزيز أمير منطقة القصيم، بحضور صاحب السمو الأمير فهد بن سعد بن فيصل بن سعد نائب أمير المنطقة، توقيع اتفاقية تعاون بين الجامعة ممثلة بالكلية التطبيقية والشركة السعودية للخدمات الأرضية لتنفيذ برنامج دبلوم الخدمات الأرضية، بحضور رئيس جامعة القصيم الأستاذ الدكتور محمد الشارخ، والرئيس التنفيذي للشركة السعودية للخدمات الأرضية الأستاذ محمد مازي، وعدد من قيادات الجهتين.
وقد وقّع الاتفاقية كلٌ من الدكتور محمد بن إبراهيم العريني الرئيس التنفيذي للكلية التطبيقية بالجامعة، والأستاذ محمد بن مازي ممثلًا للشركة السعودية للخدمات الأرضية.
H.H. the Emir of Qassim blessed the signing of the agreement, pointing out that it comes within the efforts of the university and the national logistics sector to enhance the effective partnership between educational institutions and the private sector, stressing that this step contributes to building and qualifying national competencies in the field of ground services, and represents a national model in the integration between educational entities and vital sectors in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
His Highness added: In Qassim, we are proud of such qualitative initiatives that are in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership - may Allah protect them - in empowering youth and qualifying them professionally and practically, and providing opportunities for them to actively participate in the development process, which enhances Qassim's position as an advanced center in education, qualification and training.
On this occasion, the President of Qassim University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of Qassim Region for his generous patronage and continuous support for the university's educational and developmental initiatives, stressing that this agreement represents a model of integration between the university and the private sector in order to consolidate the university's role in serving the community and preparing qualified competencies.
Mr. Mohammed Mazi, CEO of SGS, expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of Qassim for his continuous support, stressing that this strategic partnership with Qassim University embodies the company's national role in developing and qualifying national competencies and providing them with the necessary skills in the ground services sector, to enhance the Kingdom's leading position in the air transportation and logistics sector.
