UQU signs MoU with Family Affairs Council to enhance cooperation in family and community affairs

On Monday, May 12, 2025, Qassim University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Family Affairs Council to enhance cooperation in activating the implementation of the Council's outputs and initiatives of the National Family Strategy through knowledge partnership with the university as a community partner. The memorandum was signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Muhammad bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and Her Excellency the Secretary General of the Family Affairs Council, Dr. Maymuna bint Khalil Al-Khalil, at the headquarters of the University City.


The memorandum aims to activate the role of the university as an incubator for community initiatives that contribute to achieving real impact in the family and society, enable the Council to reach all families and their members to empower them cognitively, economically, and socially through educational and training programs and awareness campaigns, stimulate volunteer work with community initiatives to serve the family and its members with joint initiatives, promote integration between educational institutions and the Council in improving educational outcomes related to family science disciplines and related disciplines, as well as cooperation in preparing joint studies and research on priority topics
