The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic swept across the globe, causing a worldwide epidemic that strained all aspects of life in every country, resulting in significant human and material losses. While countries“ efforts to confront, combat, and mitigate the negative effects of this pandemic varied, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with God's grace, took the lead in optimally managing the pandemic, making it an exemplary model to follow. This would not have been possible without God's grace, followed by the great guidance and support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince to take the best measures and arrangements to preserve human safety, health, and the stability of life and the provision of needs during the pandemic. To document these tremendous efforts that have garnered global attention, Qassim University decided to highlight these great efforts and study them scientifically and extensively by holding the conference ”The Kingdom's Efforts in Confronting the Corona Pandemic: Challenges and Strategies," under the kind patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Province.
