The College of Computing has obtained the extension of the international academic accreditation for engineering and technology from the international association (ABET) for all its programs, which included the three programs of the college, namely: "Computer Science, Information Technology and Computer Engineering" for male and female students, which is the culmination of the continuous efforts of its staff towards development, quality and continuous improvement in the academic and research process.
His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University, praised the successful efforts in this achievement, which will reflect on the outputs of the college and its progress, as one of the steps taken by the university towards its relentless pursuit of scientific leadership.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Walid bin Saleh Al-Battah, said: "His Excellency the UQU President's continuous efforts, his generous and continuous support for all that is in the interest of our male and female students, as well as the educational process, and his relentless endeavors to promote the university and its colleges, the latest fruits of which, praise be to God, were the renewal of the accreditation."
It is noteworthy that the specialized committees of the International Academic Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the United States of America have examined and reviewed the reports and assessments required by the accreditation and meet the criteria for extending the accreditation period for the College of Computing programs.
