UQU organizes the closing ceremony of the summer club activities amidst an impressive attendance

 

His Excellency Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University and Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Summer Club at the University, expressed his happiness for the students and their parents who participated in the activities and activities of the club in its first year, which lasted for a whole month, stressing that the club aimed during that period to use the summer sleep period for students from different educational stages to benefit them in their future and benefit their religion and their homeland.
In his speech during the closing ceremony of the club's activities for this year, which was held yesterday evening, Wednesday, 11/19/1439 AH, at the Sports City in Al-Malida, Al-Dawood pointed out that the excellence of the activities and events presented by the club in its first year indicates the competencies of the university and the continuous support it receives in every aspect and field by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them -.
Al-Dawood also referred to the support provided by His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Emir of Qassim Region, in supporting the university and all its activities. Al-Dawood conveyed his greetings to the students and all the staff of the club, and his happiness with the university's establishment of this club and embracing these young people from all age groups: elementary, middle, high school and university for a period of thirty days.
In his speech, Al-Dawood announced that Qassim University intends to hold this club every summer, while developing its activities and activities and improving them to provide better services to the youth of the region, by studying all the positives and observations observed by colleagues, in order to improve the level of performance, in addition to studying the opening of branches of this club in the governorates of the region.
Al-Dawood praised the efforts of the Deanship of Student Affairs, which took over the organization of the summer club, and they had great experience and good planning, as if they had been organizing this event for several years, as we did not notice any shortcomings or deficiencies in any aspect despite the fact that it was held for the first time, thanking the club's Executive Director, Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, for his solidarity with his colleagues and his encouragement to them, as well as the club's Secretary, Adel Al-Hajri, who transferred his great experience to this club, in addition to the supervisors of the different groups and categories, trainers and everyone who worked to implement the club's activities and activities.
Al-Dawood added that the university vice presidents are proud to present this club, which cost the university many times the nominal fees to serve the members of the community, stressing that the university supports such activities to exploit the times of young people, develop their talents, refine them, encourage them continuously and use their time away from those devices that hurt parents a lot, and try to use their energies in useful sports, cultural, social and recreational programs, and this is a gain that is not equivalent to any price, appreciating the parents' deposit of their children in the university.
For his part, Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, Dean of Student Affairs and Executive Director of the Summer Club, pointed out in his speech that this year 1439 AH is the first year that the Summer Club was held at Qassim University, which carried within it a message presented with excellence in the idea and creativity in implementation and production, combining fun, benefit, knowledge, discipline and community service, adding that this year of the club is a nucleus for the coming years, which will be based on thoughtful foundations and programs offered to students according to the age group.

On behalf of the parents, he expressed their thanks to this wonderful facility represented by Qassim University for establishing such a club, stressing that one of the blessings of God in this country is the presence of educational incubators created by our wise government to protect our youth from intellectual and moral loss, praising the idea of the club and its programs that embraced the youth for 5 continuous weeks, which instilled discipline and cooperation in them and benefited from all cultural, recreational, sports and social programs, which had a great impact on their personalities, enhancing their abilities and highlighting their talents. The closing ceremony began with the playing of the royal peace, followed by a recitation of the verses of the Holy Quran, followed by several paragraphs for the talented students participating in the club, including a presentation of the play "The House", which deals with how children of all stages can take advantage of their vacation within this club, followed by a national poem by student Tamim Alkhudair, and a singing operetta from the club's talents presented by students Badr Al-Sulami, Khalid Al-Muhaimid, and Omar Al-Adl.
At the end of the ceremony, the UQU President honored the participating parties in the summer club and crowned the winners of the Holy Qur'an, Sunnah, "Who is the Martyr" and other competitions organized by the club.
