Students of the summer club compete in the "Martyrs" soccer tournament

The Summer Club is organizing the "Martyrs" football tournament for middle school students, with the participation of 60 players who were divided into 6 teams, each of which bore the name of a martyr, namely: "Abdulhakim Al-Muqbel, Ibrahim Al-Zunaidi, Suleiman Al-Qazlan, Yousef Al-Badiri, Khalid Al-Hamidan, and Abdullah Al-Hoshani." The names were chosen and distributed to the governorates of the Qassim region, to enhance their heroic role among the youth, to commemorate those who sacrificed their lives in defense of their religion, their king, and their homeland.

Dr. Ali Al-Aqlaa, Dean of Student Affairs at the university, stressed that the name of this tournament "Martyrs" was chosen in recognition of the success stories of our martyred heroes that deserve to be remembered and immortalized by the children of the country, stressing the university's keenness to promote belonging and loyalty, through the various activities offered by the summer club.

The organizing committee has set prizes for the best player in the tournament, the best goalkeeper, and the tournament's top scorer. The club also holds a competition from the martyr to introduce the martyrs, with the participation of the club's beneficiaries to introduce them to the names of the martyrs.
It is noteworthy that the club's activities are held during the summer period for 30 days, ending on 11/17/1439 AH, with the participation of the region's children from different educational stages: "Elementary, Middle and High School".
