University signs agreement with traffic to establish a driving school for women in Qassim

His Excellency Prof. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of the University, signed an agreement to establish a women's driving school project at the university with the Director General of the Kingdom's Traffic, Major General Mohammed Al-Bassami, on Monday morning, Ramadan 20, 1439 A.H., in the VIP hall at the University City in Al-Malida, where it is expected that the school will be opened within the next six months.

Al-Dawad emphasized that this agreement comes to facilitate the region's girls to learn to drive and within the framework of interaction with the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God protect him - and the Supreme Order issued on 10/10 during the last Hijri year to allow women to drive, hoping that this school will be one of the best schools in the Kingdom and will benefit the daughters of the country, thanking the traffic men for their interaction and their appreciative efforts.

It is noteworthy that the University Projects Department has completed its early preparations to receive female students' cars in Al-Malidah University City, where about (5655) parking lots have been prepared, in addition to many parking lots in various female colleges, as part of the university's efforts following the decision to allow women to drive.
