His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Emir of Qassim Region, congratulated his sons and daughters students on the extension of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program, pointing out that the program reflects the insightful vision of the leader of this blessed country to build the Saudi man and enable him to acquire knowledge from everywhere in the world, stressing the importance of being armed with faith and Islamic constants.
This came during his speech during the opening of the fifth forum for male and female dental students in the Kingdom, which was organized by the College of Dentistry at Qassim University at the King Khalid Civilization Center in Buraydah in the presence of more than 15 medical colleges representing Saudi colleges and universities.
His Highness praised the great expansion witnessed by Qassim University, which has now reached 38 colleges, including 11 specialized health colleges, stressing that this reflects the efforts of the sincere administration that leads the young university towards the horizons of excellence, as he said: "Our young university is characterized by a conscious administration led by a son of our dear countrymen: "Our young university is characterized by a conscious administration led by a son of our dear country, who is recognized for his excellence and professional management.
His Highness said that Qassim University is always ahead of initiatives that serve the region and the Kingdom in general, including the opening of departments for female students in the College of Dentistry as the first college in the Kingdom to allow female students the opportunity to study this important specialty.
His Highness addressed a message to his male and female students, saying: You are the treasure of the country and the safety valve for a country that aspires to much from your achievements, your help and your stand, you are the hope and pillar of the future.
His Highness did not hide his happiness to be present among the students of science and knowledge in this purposeful forum that brings together the sons and daughters of the country to benefit from the positive practices and experiences of the international experts that we are happy to have, extending his thanks and appreciation to his sons and students of the College of Dentistry at Qassim University for their wonderful organization of this forum, praising the efforts and fragrant biography of the Dean of the College for students, Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhaimid.
The ceremony included a speech program that started with verses from the Al-Quran. The President of the forum, Sulaiman Al-Rasheed, praised the patronage of His Highness for the forum, hoping that it will achieve the desired goals of its establishment.
The Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Mohammed Al-Muhaimid, pointed out that the College of Dentistry has taken it upon itself since its inception not to be a traditional college that is satisfied with delivering information to the student to receive it as it is and then test his memorization of this information, but has been keen since it drew its study plan on the path of training students in cognitive skills and other skills such as leadership, scientific research and communication with community groups.
Dr. Al-Muhaimid reviewed a number of the college's activities, such as the voluntary dental caravans, which are concerned with visiting centers and providing consultations, treatment, operations and awareness to their residents free of charge, in addition to the dental clinics in the university city, which provide services to all categories of the community free of charge.
His Highness then honored the sponsors and participants before inaugurating the exhibitions accompanying the forum, which he toured, praising the students and their ability to organize and create.
