The students of the College of Pharmacy at Qassim University participating in the Dubai International Conference on Pharmacy and Technology achieved a new achievement by winning several awards over more than 1200 students from 75 countries, representing more than 50 pharmacy colleges around the world.
The student Ghadeer Hamad Al-Madhen won second place in the research innovation track out of 612 participating research papers that were displayed in the research poster exhibition, and the student Khawla Hamad Khalid Al-Salim won third place in the research content quality track out of 612 participating papers that were displayed in the research poster exhibition, while the student Areej Ahmed Al-Muzaini won fourth place in the best presentation of scientific lectures out of 112 presentations submitted to the conference.
It is worth mentioning that a delegation from the College of Pharmacy at Qassim University, consisting of 13 students and a number of faculty members, participated in the conference, which is considered the largest event in the Middle East in the field of pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry and its developments. The conference serves as a meeting point for pharmacists, doctors, scientists, pharmaceutical companies and laboratories, with the aim of developing the scientific and practical skills of male and female students, achieving scientific communication with specialists and academics and meeting with international experts
