He offered his congratulations to the wise leadership on National Day
"The future of the Kingdom is promising and centered on the strengths of our country"
His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Dawood, President of Qassim University, affirmed that the occasion of the anniversary of the National Day in the Kingdom is characterized by being an event that goes beyond noisy celebrations to emphasize the values and principles on which the Kingdom was founded, as the unification of the vast and sprawling Saudi Arabia and its inclusion under the banner of a single state at that difficult stage in the history of our Arab world, 86 years ago, represents in itself a unitary achievement that was more like a dream, but the sincere will based on the divine approach and the protection of Islamic sanctities made this dream a reality that became a sign of pride for all its sons and Muslims.
Dr. Al-Dawood said that the occasion of the National Day in the Kingdom carries within it many historical, developmental and security implications and connotations, as the Kingdom has succeeded during the past decades in achieving a developmental miracle embodied in the development of the human being and investing in qualifying him with knowledge and skills.
The Kingdom has become a model of political stability and security, and these economic achievements would not have been realized without God's blessing and strategic planning represented in the five-year economic development plans that began in 1390 AH.
That was more than forty-five years ago, and it continued until this auspicious era that witnessed the launch of the Kingdom's new development vision (2030), as it represents an important turning point in the Saudi developmental project.
He added that while previous development plans aimed at establishing the development project and building infrastructure, Vision 2030 was based on the Kingdom's strengths: its position in the Islamic world, its role in the global sphere, its strategic location, and its economic wealth.
He stressed that Vision 2030 promises a promising future for the Kingdom, as it is based on anticipating the future through three axes, the first of which is society, which is the basis of the vision equation, in addition to the two axes of the prosperous economy and the ambitious nation, and in each axis there is a package of commitments and goals, which the vision is based on a set of executive programs that will be subject to measurement, governance, performance indicators and results.
He pointed out that the occasion of the 86th National Day this year comes as the Kingdom continues its development project aimed at reconstruction and development and promoting opportunities for peace and regional and international cooperation, despite the magnitude of the challenges and dangers that some regional and international powers and regimes seek to spread in the Arab region, which confirms that the Kingdom will remain, God willing, an oasis of safety, a center of peace and a source of good and development.
On this occasion, the President of Qassim University offered congratulations and blessings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, as well as to His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, all members of the royal family and the noble Saudi people, praying that God will keep our country blessed with security and prosperity.
