The University Medical City signed two cooperation agreements and a memorandum of understanding to enhance its partnership with several health entities in the fields of medical studies and research and experience exchange. This took place during its participation in the Global Health Forum, held at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center from October 21-23, 2024.
The Medical City signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Health Council; with the aim of exchanging health data and information. It was sponsored by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Eng. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, in the presence of His Excellency the CEO of the University Hospitals Program and Secretary-General of the Council, Professor Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Rabeeah, and it was signed by His Excellency the Director General of the Medical City, Dr. Khaled bin Fahd Al-Hathais, alongside Professor Walid bin Khalid Al-Bahli, Director General of the National Center for Health Information.
The CEO of the Medical City also signed a memorandum of understanding with the University Hospital of King Khalid University, represented by the hospital's CEO, Dr. Saeed Al-Qahtani, and a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Society for Health Simulation, signed by its president, Dr. Abdul Aleem Al-Atassi; This is to enhance cooperation in the field of medical studies and research and the exchange of expertise between them.
It is mentioned that the Medical City participated in the forum, which saw the participation of many local and international experts and various health institutions, through a pavilion to showcase the city's services and medical facilities, its healthcare and training programs, and its community efforts.
