The UQU Medical City signed two cooperation agreements and a memorandum of understanding to strengthen its partnership with a number of health authorities in the fields of studies, medical research and exchange of experiences, during its participation in the Global Health Forum held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center from October 21-23, 2024.
The Medical City signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Health Council to exchange health data and information. It was sponsored by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, Engineer Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Rumaih, in the presence of His Excellency the CEO of the University Hospitals Program and Secretary General of the Council, Prof. Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Rubaish, and signed by His Excellency the Executive Director General of Medical City, Dr. Khalid bin Fahad Al-Husais, along with Mr. Walid bin Khalid Al-Bahli, Director General of the National Center for Health Information.
The Executive Director General of the Medical City also signed a memorandum of understanding with Najran University Hospital, represented by the hospital's Director General, Dr. Saeed Al-Qahtani, and a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Society for Health Simulation, signed by the Society's President, Dr. Abdul Alim Al-Atasi, to enhance cooperation in the field of medical studies and research and exchange experiences between them.
The Medical City participated in the forum, which witnessed the participation of many local and international experts and various health institutions, through a pavilion to introduce the city's services, medical facilities, healthcare and training programs, and community efforts.
