His Excellency the President of the University inaugurates the "Amal" exhibition to promote mental health

His Excellency the President of the University, Professor Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharikh, inaugurated the annual exhibition «Amal» on Tuesday, as part of the university's efforts to promote the mental health of its students and staff. The exhibition, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs, featured the participation of several health colleges and affiliated entities. The inauguration was attended by His Excellency the Vice President for Financial and Technical Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Saoui, His Excellency the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Fahad bin Sulaiman Al-Ahmad, and His Excellency the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Waleed bin Saleh Al-Battah, in the main lobby of the university city.

He also viewed the exhibition, which included 34 booths with awareness and guidance activities on mental health concepts and promotion, as well as lectures, consultations, scientific programs, and diverse activities with the participation of male and female students and faculty members.

During his tour of the exhibition’s sections, Al-Shariq reviewed the university's efforts in promoting mental health and its scientific and research activities in this field, after the university achieved a 100% rate in the National Center for Mental Health Promotion index.

His Excellency the President of the University also launched the programs and events of the «Ertiqaa» initiative in its next phase, with the aim of strengthening concepts of mental health and launching many initiatives to raise the quality of life within the university environment.
