His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Meshal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Qassim Region, witnessed yesterday, Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Qassim University, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON", and the National Academy for Industry, during his patronage of the Youth Industry Forum in Qassim, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, King Khalid Civilization Center in Buraidah, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Mr. Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.

The memorandum was signed by His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Fadhi Al-Enezi, Vice President for Business Development and Community Partnership, His Excellency the Executive Director of the Saudi Industrial Cities and Technology Zones Authority, Engineer Majid bin Rafid Al-Arqoubi, and His Excellency the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources for Human Capacity Development, Engineer Faris bin Saleh Al-Saqabi.

This memorandum aims to build cooperation between the signatory parties, based on their keenness to develop human capabilities in the industry sector, support the growth of local communities and contribute to their development, and work together to enhance areas of joint cooperation to benefit from the capabilities of each party, in order to achieve the objectives of the Human Capacity Development Program and the National Strategy for Industry aimed at achieving the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The terms of the memorandum stipulate cooperation in several areas, including: Cooperation in preparing, designing and implementing advanced training programs in the industrial and mining sectors, as well as in qualifying national cadres and raising their readiness for the labor market, in addition to cooperative training, field visits for students, consultations and cooperation in the fields of human capacity development.
