On Sunday, September 15, 2024, the university signed a cooperation agreement with the Armed Forces Hospital in Al-Qassim, signed by His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Sharekh, and His Excellency the Director of the hospital, Major General Salem bin Salem Al-Timani, in the presence of the university vice presidents and deans of the health colleges, in the main lobby of the university city.

The agreement aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two entities in a number of fields, build a scientific and research partnership between them according to the organizational frameworks, in addition to activating channels of communication at the academic and professional level. The agreement also aims to increase professional practice and training opportunities for health practitioners and doctors in the health facilities of both parties, as well as providing opportunities for internship students and undergraduate students in health colleges for practical and clinical training in the facilities of the Armed Forces Hospital in Al-Qassim.

The terms of the agreement include cooperation in the fields of education and training in health specialties, providing health, consultancy and administrative services, as well as organizing workshops, seminars, conferences and joint scientific activities, in addition to cooperation in the field of scientific research, houses of expertise, possible technical resources, information sources and databases, scientific activities, exhibitions and professional meetings.
